After spending more than 27 years in corporate sales and leadership, Patrick decided to take the leap in 2024—the year of the Dragon and a Leap Year—and become his own boss. It has been both an exciting and terrifying journey.
Patrick believes that everyone is placed on this planet for a reason. He is passionate about helping individuals recognize their unique qualities and showing how those traits can positively impact others, their work, and the world around them. Known for his sharp sense of humor, Patrick believes that luck is created at the intersection of hard work and opportunity. Outside of professional pursuits, he is a chef, amateur food blogger, winery owner, dog-and-cat lover (equally!), and ambidextrous. He is also well-known for his creative Halloween costumes and signature dad jokes.
Core Values:
Independence, Creativity, Ethics, Intelligence, Altruism
(with the understanding that values evolve over time)
For Patrick, knowing one’s values is essential to personal and professional development. Values serve as a guide for recognizing when something is or isn’t working. For example, a disconnect with a customer is often not about the product or service, but rather a mismatch in values. Recognizing this allows salespeople to move past frustration and focus on building connections, which is essential for closing the sale.
Strengths:
The ability to see and cultivate strengths in others, guiding them toward excellence.
Adaptability and openness to unforeseen detours.
A preference for meaningful, deep relationships.
Inspiration from “what-if” possibilities and forward thinking.
A passion for science.
Task-oriented focus, with satisfaction in creating and completing to-do lists.
Principles:
Patrick believes most people want to succeed, and a major part of leadership lies in removing barriers to that success. Trust is the foundation for meaningful change, while developing natural talents leads to greater happiness and productivity. Boundaries are also crucial for healthy relationships—especially in sales, where exceptional professionals balance attentive listening with firm boundaries that prioritize customer needs.
At the heart of Patrick’s philosophy are two controllable elements: attitude and effort. He strives to live by the mantra: Become the person your dog thinks you are.
Through years as both an individual contributor and people leader, Patrick has discovered that the best way to help people reach their goals is by leading with a strengths-based leadership approach. This method increases self-awareness, productivity, confidence, and overall happiness.
